WORKPLACE HEALTH & WELLBEING TALKS
To me eating a healthy, whole food diet is one of the fundamentals of wellbeing. ‘Let Food Be Your Medicine and Medicine Be Your Food’ as they say. So I guess it goes without saying how much I love giving Nutrition seminars and Cooking Workshops. Getting out into the world and inspiring positive food choices is what it’s all about. Whether it’s replacing the lolly jar at work with a bowl of fresh fruit and nuts or encouraging you to cook more , getting you excited about eating nourishing, healthy foods is the aim. Our fatigue workshop addresses the possible nutritional causes of fatigue, including dietary deficiencies and excesses and how making some simple changes can leave more energized, vital and productive. We also look beyond diet, exploring the idea that having meaning and purpose in our lives is the most important thing we can do for our health and vitality, the importance of rest, and how joy is a crucial part of wellness. The Sustainable Foods Workshop - Schools & Workplace
Perhaps one of the most important things we can do to reduce the devastating impact poor food choices has on our health and our planet is educate our children just what a healthy diet looks like. Where does food come from? What does 'real food' look like? How does advertising impact our food choices? What food groups do we need for a healthy diet? How do our food choices impact upon our planet? This session answers so many of the critical questions around food that children need to know. Knowledge is power - this session gives them the information needed to make better food choices for improved energy, focus and learning while minimising their environmental footprint. Important stuff!
The Impact of Food On Children's Behaviour
There are so many aspects relating to food that can affect children's behaviour. This session covers them all, along with specific food groups and nutrients that have both a positive and negative effect on children’s behaviour. I discuss tips to get your kids eating well along with a plenty of food ideas to get them eating a healthy, balanced diet.

TESTIMONIALS
“Lindy provided us with a thorough and informative nutritional session on super foods and even had us taste test some delicious recipes of smoothies and amazing protein balls. Her friendly and approachable nature added to her valuable knowledge that she provided the group and we have now all purchased a number of the ingredients that were presented to us. It was a great way to introduce a healthy office culture and the information provided on sugar confirmed why we needed to get rid of our confectionary box! We are now organising our own “Healthy Lunch Days” using the recipes that were provided to us on the day.”

“Lindy recently spoke on health and wellbeing to a group of us at Australia Post. It was during this excellent presentation that I had a ‘light bulb’ moment that said I have to change my unhealthy eating habits and I need to meet with Lindy one on one to help me on my new journey. I truly believe that I was meant to go to the presentation and meet Lindy, to hear how bad sugar addiction is and to face reality that my diet was BAD and that I needed to change to make myself a healthier and happier person. I have already started my journey by having a consultation with Lindy and I have already made positive changes. Nutritional food does not have to be boring! Thank you Lindy :) “

“insightful and helped me understand that your diet can be changed by replacing certain foods you eat.”
“I though Lindy was really clear and concise and I really liked how she explained what the super foods were related to. I am looking forward to receiving some recipes and further information from her.”
“I really enjoyed the talk. Some of the things I already knew but what I found really helpful was her explaining WHY a certain food type was good for you. For example, I knew Chai seeds were good for you, but I didn’t the full extent of the health benefits that they contained. Now I know why they are so good for me I will make more of an effort to eat them. It was also great that she provided some recipes so that we know how to incorporate these good foods into our diet.”
“Lindy gave a really enjoyable and interesting talk. It was helpful how she added how to read a label and understand it. Also understanding the levels of sugar even in fruit juice- I had my last juice for a while on the weekend. Recipes were great as well.”
“Really enjoyable and interesting! – would have been nice to have been able to book 10 mins of 1 on 1 time though”
” Great quick session covering the need to know for a healthy nutritional diet. Will definitely try to increase the amount of superfoods in my everyday diet. Thanks Lindy!”
“Fun, engaging talk – kept it interesting and to the point so was easy to follow. And really liked the little testers too! Looking forward to receiving recipes so I can try some new healthy things at home!”
